Participation

Professional or amateur artists from any part of the world can participate in the contest.

Humor and Theme

The works presented must have a humorous intention.

2 categories or themes are established: Festivals of Moors and Christians Free

Format

The presentation will be in paper or digital format. The work must be publishable on paper.

The maximum size will be a DIN A4 or proportional page.

Language

In case of containing text, it should be labeled in Spanish

Number of Works

Each participant may submit a maximum of 6 works, 3 per category in any of the valid formats.

Delivery

The time and deadline for delivery of works will be 23.00 on Friday, March 23, 2018.

Originals will not be accepted, only copies (in digital or printed format). Works in JPEG format must be submitted in a resolution of 300 dpi.

Each participant will have to specify their full name, telephone number, complete postal address and email address.

The delivery can be made by email or ordinary mail (in no case will the work be returned)

Awards

A prize is established by category:

Moors and Christians Festival Prize 200.00 euros

Free thematic prize 200.00 euros

The award ceremony and exhibition of the selected works (a selection of 25 works will be made by category including the awarded ones)

will be at the Paurides Foundation on Friday, May 4, 2018, as well as will be published in the official magazine of the comparsa.

The verdict will be communicated to the winners and published in the media.

The participation in the call of this contest implies the acceptance of these bases.

The organization and the jury reserve the right, if necessary, to interpret any doubts or unforeseen cases that arise.
