The illustrators will carry out their work starting from the concept of the BOOK and the universe that revolves around this tool of cultural expression. The imaginative world that awakens, the authors, the ideas, the readers, places of reading, the history...

PRESENTATION
Participants must register or identify themselves on the www.imartgine.com website and upload their work within the Illustrator Panel - New illustration, filling in the required fields; indicating technical information and the humanistic values ??represented by the work.
The validation time of the work by the jury is around 48 hours.

COMPETITORS
The contest is free. All those who wish to participate and who are at least 16 years old can take part. Each participant can submit an unlimited number of works.

MODALITIES
Each artist will make illustrations, using the technique of his own choice within the Culture Theme (to choose when uploading the illustration). The scenes and the characters must be of his own creation and unpublished.
When uploading the work to the contest, it should state as the name: "BOOK UNIVERSE and the title that the illustrator wants to give".

FORMAT
Each of the works submitted must be in A3 format (4970 x 3514 pixels - 42 x 29.7 cm), which can be both horizontal and vertical. It should have a resolution of 300 dpi and CMYK color.

PLACE AND TERMINATION OF PRESENTATION
The works must be sent exclusively through the web page of www.imartgine.com until October 12, 2017.

JURY
A qualified jury will validate the submitted works and will value them technically and artistically, being able to reject them if necessary.
Among those accepted, the jury will choose the best works.
The prizes will be attributed in the six weeks that will follow the end of the contest. The jury can declare a number of prizes void, without being possible to appeal this decision.

AWARDS
The organizers will acquire among the top ten winners, a total of 1,000 euros in works, from the Imartgine gallery. This money will be distributed among the ten winners in equal parts. 

Any sale of the registered works, will mean for the participants that have been awarded or not, a remuneration based on the commission regulated in the general conditions of the Imartgine gallery.

ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS
The original works will be kept by the authors.

OTHER DETERMINATION
The participation in the contest, implies the acceptance of these rules.
