The first prize of the 20th Zemun International Caricature Salon went to
Ilian Savkov from Sofia, the second to Lazo Sredanovic from Krasici, and
the third to Serafim Bakoulis from Athens
.BELGRADE - The first prize of the 20th Zemun International Caricature Salon went to Ilian Savkov from Sofia, the second to Lazo Sredanovic from Krasici, and the third to Serafim Bakoulis from Athens.The prizes were granted at the opening of the caricature exhibition at the Stara Kapetanija Gallery. The jury also commended the works of Belgrade-based caricaturist Dejan Djurovic.The contest received 285 entries from 105 famous cartoonists from 55 countries from all continents, and the international jury chose the best drawings for the exhibition and prizes.Since its set-up in 1996, the Zemun Salon is among the most respected events of this kind, held in high esteem among caricaturists from across the world.The exhibition will run through June 14.
