"Harmony with nature"
The 9th International Cartoon Festival for Life and Peace, "Harmony with Nature," opens its doors to cartoonists and illustrators from every continent to reflect, through empathy and constructive dialogue, on the importance of peace and the environment, understanding that protecting nature is protecting peace, and we do so through the art of cartooning.
Opening: July 15, 2026
Submission Deadline: August 14, 2026
Exhibition: September 4, 5 and 6, 2026, as part of the festival in Calarcá, Colombia.
Artworks generated using artificial intelligence will not be accepted.
As Mahatma Gandhi said: "What we do to the world, we do to ourselves."
Rules and Guidelines
The International Cartoon Festival invites cartoonists and illustrators from every continent to participate under the theme "Harmony with Nature."
Participation is open to all cartoonists.
Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 works.
Free technique.
The works must be submitted in format: A4, jpg, 21 x 29.7 cm, 300 dpi.
They can participate with works that have been awarded or published.
Each work must be accompanied by the following information: Names and surnames of the author, email and country of origin.
By sending the work, it is understood that participation is accepted and the Event Committee is authorized to publish its work in print and electronic media.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
The jury will select 60 works that will be enlarged to 50 x 70 cm, which will be exhibited in the street of art in the city of Calarcá (Colombia).
