Resad Sultanovic Bosnian and Herzegovina Cartoonist Passed Away /November2025

With sadness and respect, not only Kladanj but whole Bosnia and Herzegovina and the World of Caricature bids farewell to the great man Resad Sultanovic whose name, work and spirit will forever remain etched in cultural, sports and patriotic history.

Born in 1955 years in Kladanj, Reso carried in him a love for homeland, art and people all his life. As a participant and witness of the most difficult times, he has given an immeasurable part of himself to the defense of the country and the people, he is the recipient of the largest municipal award the Golden Badge for his contribution to the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He devoted more than four decades to caricature, an artistic expression through which he depicted the world around him with a lot of spirit and irony.

He was a longtime correspondent of "Sportskih novosti" from Zagreb, a member and associate of EU " ,vor" from Bjelovar, a member of HNK "Hajduk" and associate of the newspaper NK "Hajduk" from Split.

Since he was constantly tied up with drawing by profession, and the fact that he was born on All Saints' Day should not be neglected, he decided to combine the comfortable with the useful and start practicing caricature in addition to journalism and enigmatic.
