Video Of The Judges Of The 53rd International Humor Exhibition Of Piracicaba /Brazil 2026

The jury was composed of professionals with outstanding performance in different areas of visual arts, research, and innovation:

Adilson da Silva Freitas, professor of Computer Graphics, videographer, and specialist in Artificial Intelligence;

Gislaine Martins (Gim), architect, muralist, and cultural producer, with more than 200 murals created in Brazil and abroad;

Mago Pool, visual artist, cartoonist, and screenwriter with works focused on representation and social critique;

Dani Marino, professor and researcher in the field of comics, with a master's degree from ECA-USP and winner of the HQ Mix Trophy;

Willian Hussar, art educator and award-winning artist at graphic humor festivals;

Luiz Gustavo Paffaro, an illustrator with experience at publications such as Veja, Folha de S.Paulo, and MAD magazine, and a winner of the Salon itself; and

Marília Marz, an illustrator, comic book artist, and cartoonist for Folha de S.Paulo, nominated for the HQ Mix Trophy.

Exhibition Opening: The official public exhibition opens on August 29, 2026 at the Engenho Central.

Awards Ceremony: Winners will be announced on August 22, 2026.

Closing: The exhibition runs until November 1, 2026
