The fastest cartoon news site in Iran

Traditionally held “Aydin Dogan” International Cartoon Contest finalized in Turkey in the other days. Well-known cartoonists from USA, Japan, Tanzania, Greece, Turkey and Azerbaijan were among the jury members in this prestigious contest where hundreds of cartoonists from the world’s 66 countries participated. The president of Azerbaijan Cartoonists’ Union Bayram Hajizadeh represented our country in the international event.

First place is awarded to Agim Sulaj (Italy), second place to Mohsen Nouri Najafi (Iran), third place to Jalal Pirmarzabadi (Iran) by the decision of the jury of international composition. Special prizes and honorary diplomas of the contest were presented to Mikhail Zlatkovsky (Russia), Alberto Morales Ajubel (Spain), Angel Boligan (Cuba), İshimaru Hide (Japan), Frank Hoffmann (Germany), Moacir Knorr Gutterres (Brazil), Musa Gümüş (Turkey), Cemalettin Güzeloğlu (Turkey), Jose Antonio Garci Nieto (Mexico), Didier Pizzi (France), Saman Torabi (Iran) and Jugoslav Vlahovic (Serbia).

In the event Bayram Hajizadeh expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to “Aydin Dogan” fund, supporting “Aydin Dogan” competition for many years, which is considered one of the world’s most prestigious international cartoon competitions, rendering invaluable services for the recognition and promotion of the cartoon genre, each person who contributed to this necessary event on behalf of all cartoon lovers.
