Four International Cartoon Exhibition In House of Humor and Satire Gabrovo,2016
In the traditional autumn program "cartoon landing" House of Humor and Satire Gabrovo offers and guests another exciting encounter with humor art of Bulgarian and foreign artists.
Two of the halls of Jolly house already occupied by hundreds of cartoons, satirical drawings and cartoons. Invasion of the works to the capital of humor is a response to the invitation to partners and friends of the House of humor and satire to visit with selected collections of its funds and studios - 4 major exhibitions with over 300 cartoons by 140 artists from dozens of countries have already conquered the museum's territory .
Gabrovtsi have the privilege immediately after local residents to enjoy a remarkable selection of works from the 41 th National Caricature Exhibition - Sofia - 2016.

This year the traditional review of contemporary Bulgarian caricature involved 38 artists whose works reflect the problems of today's society.

It is widely accepted political satire, as always present current topics in the world and in our country - terrorism, refugee crisis, reforms in education and the judiciary, protection of nature, urban crime, the war on the roads and more. Guest in Gabrovo selection includes 156 works by 19 prominent Bulgarian cartoonists and will be represented by Ivailo Tsvetkov - president of the section "Cartoon" at UBA.
Laureate Award of the Museum "House of Humour and Satire" of this year's 41st National Caricature Exhibition is Maya Cholakova.

The award includes a medal "The world lasts because it laughs", a diploma and a visit to the exhibition in the House of humor.

On his first exhibition in Gabrovo Maya Cholakova will personally present their 46 recent works together in "Game of absurdity."
Third visiting exhibition comes from Russia and is the result of international competition for ironic timing, organized by the Guild of cartoonists in Moscow. "Gagarin's smile" is the theme of spacecraft and includes 64 works by 61 artists from 20 countries. Especially for the vernissage arriving guests from Russia: Andrei Rizhov - Chairman of the Guild, member of the jury of the 21st International Biennale - Gabrovo 2013; Alexander Klishchenko and Stanislav Ashmarin - renowned cartoonists and participants in competitions Biennale over the years.
The fourth exhibition "Olive" - a collection showing the best of the eponymous International Cartoon Contest, held in the town. Kyrenia, Cyprus. The exhibition presents winners of various awards over the years - 63 works by 59 artists from 24 countries.

The focus of cartoonists is eternal olive tree which provides a livelihood, but the loan and its place in history, philosophy and mythology.
The opening of the exhibition is on 6 October this year 17.30.

It will also involve alumni Gabrovo Dance School "Liana" to head Ljiljana Panteleeva and children from kindergarten "Mickey Mouse".
