1 - What was the main reason for doing the cartoon?
1-1.I have started to draw when I was a child.  You know I was fond of cutting out cartoons from humor magazines and putting them into my textbook. But my first serious cartoon I have made when my son was born in 1998. I sent it into the newspaper and it was published, after that I become a cartoonist. I have no art education. In fact I am agronomist. And have worked in botanical garden for about ten years.

2 - Have you ever made anyone angry with your cartoon?
2-2.I do not know. If I even draw evil political cartoons I do it with a great love to my character. I must love my hero even if he is a kind of essential evil. But I don’t like political cartoons, they are short - termed and take a lot of mental energy. All politics are ugly characters.

3 - According to you what is the funniest cartoon?
3-3.I am very sad man. I have a professionally sight so I am not a kind of man who cries: from the point of fun it is cool! For me the greatest cartoonists are two Yuriys: Kosobukin and Ochakovsky. It is sad but they are not with us today and the world  of cartoons became much poor.

4 - Is cartoon your income source?
4-4.Yes, I think.

 

5 - Do you agree for your child to be a cartoonist?
5-5.Yes and No. I don`t know, but I would like  my child`s to understand what are they going to do in  their life as fast as they can.

6 - How do you find your cartoon's subject?
6-6.I love difficult cartoons. Sometimes invent and sometimes “steal” from life.. From nature... Trees for example... Dogs and cats. Birds and insects. Fish and fisherman. I can be continue for a long time. Soulless objects life artificial objects and different mechanism were also used.

7 - Which cartoonist would you like to meet?
7-7.There are a lot a cartoonist whom I want to be acquainted with. With Adolf Borne  for example. But I don’t know foreign  languages, it makes communication a bit… difficult.

 

8 - Which is your favorite cartoon site?
8-8.I can`t identify. There are about ten cartoon sites which I regulary visit, for example: Cartoon Colors, Cartoon Gallery, CWN, Tabrizcartoon, Irancartoon, KarKomics, Cartunion, Cartoonmovement, DonQuichotte etc.

9 - In your opinion, what are the best cartoonists in Iran?
9-9.Iran cartoon is traditionally very famous in the world. You have very strong, great school. My favourite Iran cartoonist is Kambiz Derambakhsh. I am fond of Ali Divandari, Touka Neyestani, Javad Alizadeh, Bahram Azimi, Masoud Ziaei, Rahim Baghal Asghari, Shahrokh Heidari,Shahram Rezaei, Farzane Vaziritabar, Alizera Pakdel, Shahrokh Heidari and other excellent cartoonists.

10 -  The last time you laughed for what?
10-10.I don`t memorized jokes. My daughter tells me jokes which she has heard at school or find out while surfing the net. And we laugh together … But I don`t remember what are they about. Even the last one in fact. Know only that it was funny.

11 - What is your entertainment?
11-1.If I have a free time – I draw.

12 - Does your neighbor know you are a cartoonist ?
12-1.No, I am introvert. So I prefer loneliness.

13-14- What was the best prize that you got? Who is your best cartoonist friend?
13-13.14-14.The greatest prize is one that you has not received yet. But I memorized a prize connected with my first cartoon trip in 2005. Kraguevac, Serbia. The Saloon of antiwar cartoon . In which  I have met Bulgarian cartoonist Ivailo Tsvetkov . And I am very grateful for our friendship and his help. I also render thanks to Vladimir Kazanevsky. He noticed me on cartoons exhibition and invite me to take part in cartoon seminar, which organized. So that’s how I got into the world of cartoons

15 - What is your opinion about cartoon similarities?
15-15.I hate plagiat and similarities... Let’s be realists, all our reality is build  of similarities. So goes the world. No one is immune from them.

16 - Apart from cartoon what other art do you do?
If I was not a cartoonist I have became a pottery (ceramics) or carving. I love wood and clay.

17 - What do you wish you did not meet?
17-17.I did not understand the question.

18 -  Who is your emotional supporter?
18-18.My family is my emotional support. They and my friends and colleagues -cartoonists helps me in all my beginnings

19 - What's your idea about Tabriz cartoon?
19-19.It`s  a great idea, while there are a Museums and Schools of Cartoon like yours the art of cartoon will be developing and getting more popular among the people of all the world.  I’d like something of that kind to be in Ukraine.

20 -  Do you have speech wanna tell us and don't ever say?
20-20.The Life is beautiful and short. Live like every moment can be last! Happy man is a man who know what is his calling. Personaly for cartoonist – no day without a pictures and ideas.
