Concert In Support A Swiss Foundation Cartooning For Peace/2016
Ten years after the creation of the Cartooning for Peace network in New York by Kofi Annan and a dozen international cartoonists, the Swiss Foundation Cartooning for Peace is organizing on 16 September in Geneva Victoria Hall a charity event for the benefit of designers threatened release, worldwide, for their talent and their courage in the service of democracy, justice and human rights. .L'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, under the direction of Dutch chef Antony Hermus, perform 20 hours to the Third Symphony of Ludwig Van Beethoven, called "Eroica".

Chappatte and Plantu, both founding members of Cartooning for Peace, will live drawings amidst the musicians during the performance of the four movements of the symphony.Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Swiss Foundation and its Support Fund created to ensure support and defense of cartoonists prevented from exercising their profession in their country, victims of political trials, imprisonment or intimidation for the mere exercise of their free spirit ..The Cartooning for Peace Swiss Foundation is a recognized charity.
