Winners Of The 22nd.International Salon Of Anti-war Cartoon " Kragujevac"/ Serbia, 2023
The topic: anti-war and understanding and solidarity between people and nations.
On Friday, August 25, 2023, the jury of the submitted art pieces for the 22nd Salon of Anti-War Cartoon - an international biennial event founded in 1981 was completed. 1008 art pieces were submitted, 427 authors from 47 countries from all continents.
The Winners: Grand Prix "Courier of Peace" goes to cartoonist Mileta Mića Miloradović from Serbia.
First prize and the Golden Plaque Award was won by the cartoonist Mihai Boboc from Romania.
Second prize and the Silver Plaque Award went to the cartoonist Valery Tarasenko from Russia.
Third prize and the Bronze Plaque Award went to the cartoonist Mladen Durović from Serbia.
Six monetary prizes were awarded by sister cities of Kragujevac:
The prize of the mayor of Bydgoszcz (Poland): Vladimir Kazanevsky from Ukraine.
The prize of the City of Ingolstadt (Germany): Jovo Škomac from Serbia.
The prize of the of Bielsko-Biala (Poland): Liviu Stanila from Romania.
The prize of the of Suresnes: Fan Linato from China.
The prize of the City of Pitești (Romania): Nedeljko Ubović from Serbia.
The prize of the City of Carrara (Italy): Peshkov Roman from Russia.
The jury also awarded five Salon diplomas:
Majid Amini - Iran
Luc Vernimmen - Belgium
Benjamin Ale Ali - Iran
Mahdieh Sabbaghkar - Iran
Jorge Sanchez Arnas - Cuba
In addition to the awardees, the jury selected over 90 artworks that will be presented at the salon exhibition, as well as in the catalog.
