The first International Cartoon Exhibition held in outlets received even 655 works!
City - a friend of children and household gas, were the themes of the first international exhibition of caricatures in Cakovec which was designed and organized by renowned Međimurje and Croatian cartoonist and long-time collaborator of our weekly Damir Novak.
Before the best rated 50 cartoons in the Thursday, December 15 exposed in Scheierovoj building, a competition was held which attracted even 311 authors from 55 countries of the world, which have posted a staggering 655 works. As for the list Međimurje said Novak, the idea of organizing the exhibition is cooked for several years, and this is with the help of sponsors, finally managed to close the required financial structure.
A little more work, probably because it is easier, cartoonists have drawn on the subject of gas in the household, and from this the category and first prize - Polish author Dariusz Dabrowski which went to 400 euros (second prize was given 200, and third place 100 euros), and awarded and five special awards.
